Is it possible to capture GNSS metadata for geoshape and geotrace?

I have three surveys that are serving collectively as an asset inventory system (points, lines, polygons). I have my iPhone connected to a Garmin GLO and have added all of the GNSS metadata fields to my survey. However, only the "@geopoint" metadata fields in the point survey will autopopulate using the pulldata function. I understand that not all of the same metadata parameters will apply to the lines and polygons, but I was hoping to at least grab the accuracy, the fix type, etc. (all the specs that show up when you click the satellite icon). It looks like geoshape and geotrace just might not have these metadata fields available - has anyone found a workaround for something similar?

Thanks!

Hello @MaryGraceMcClellan

Thank you for this information! While there is no pulldata("@geoshape")/pulldata("@geotrace") formulas currently I have recorded this feedback to look into supporting in a future release. Please feel free to reach out to Esri Technical Support to log an official Enhancement for this functionality.

In the meantime there is an alternative workflow that will allow you to reach your end goal. You can populate/calculate a geoshape/geotrace question using an aggregation of geopoints. When aggregating those geopoints (vertices) you can capture the GNSS metadata you're looking for in order to extract the average, min, and max from the metadata. I've attached a small sample that demonstrates how this workflow works.

Thank you,
Zach

Hello @MaryGraceMcClellan

It's difficult with geotrace and geoshape as there are multiple vertices that make up the geometry. Are you looking for the average accuracy / fix type for all vertices, a specific vertex, or capture that information for all vertices?

Thank you,
Zach

HI @ZacharySutherby  - I just want to pull in the location provider metadata really. I know it would be difficult to get all that data for each vertex, so whatever the fields are when you add the metadata to a line/polygon layer in AGOL would work. I just looked at those fields and it looks like it is average horizontal/vertical accuracies, worst accuracies and fix type, etc. Is that possible?
