I am using a Survey123 form (version 3.25) created in the web and I have an Address question (configured with an ESRI world locator view). The Address and Geometry option is selected. When I initially submit a record, the address question works as expected:
- A suggestion appears
- I click it and the address question box populates
- Submit
- Confirm on the map that point is created at the address
However, if I try to go and edit a record (using the Data tab from the Survey123 website), then the location doesn't update.
- I type in a new address
- The suggestions will appear and I click one
- The text for the address updates
- Submit
- Check the map, but see the location is still the same even though the address field updated
Interestingly, if I switch to a Map question, then I can update a location. However, then I face the issue of extracting the address from the matched the question and it only returns the Place name for reason.
Is there a way to fix this without using Survey123 Connect?
