I would like the survey123 report template builder to ignore a section of my report that includes curly brackets.

After rendering my report in survey123 reports, I would like to pass it through Adobe Generate document from Word Template to add more data.  It uses similar curly bracket formatting that is causing errors in the Survey123 report generator.

Is there a way to ignore a section of the report while it runs?

There isn't a way to escape them. The parsing is done on Esri's end, so you can't control what it checks for either.

I'd recommend just replacing the curly brackets with something else.

If you really can't remove them, you could even toss a random hidden text field into your survey, give it a default value of { or }, and then replace all curly braces with that survey question. End result should be the same.
