Geopoint not working in Airplane mode

Hello, I have an issue with one of my surveys. When in airplane mode the geopoint feature does not work and users are not able to submit to outbox.  Here is the url: https://arcg.is/1rCu09 .  I've also attached the form.

Any insight is appreciated.

Hi Alex,

Yes, this is correct. When airplane mode is enabled, both the network (Wifi/4g/3g etc) and GPS are disabled. Without these the app can not get a location. Also if you are offline (airplace mode) and do not have any offline basemaps loaded on the device, you can not enter the detailed map view of a geopoint to manually set the location by selecting a location on the map.

Therefore you either need to enable the GPS (Location services) when in airplane mode, you can do this manually in the settings on the device, or you need to provide an offline basemap so the user can manually select a point.

My other surveys work in airplane mode and store the survey in the outbox.  I cannot move past the req'd location question.
