Hello everyone,

I am new with Survey123 and I have a question. I am doing a survey containing one question with one geopoint and another question with a geoshape. Is it possible to have both within one same survey?

I adjusted the Field type of the geopoint as "null", because the survey web designer said that two geopoints were not possible in the same survey. Now, I am coding with the survey123 Connect, and I can't check a preview anymore and whether my geopoint can be saved, as well as the geoshape.

Do you think that the "null" insures both answers to be saved? Is it also ok regarding the geoshape?

Regards

Zélie

Survery123 adds all its data to a feature service in ArcGIS Online.  A feature service can only be one geometry type at a time - point, line, or polygon.  So no you cannot have both.

You can add a repeat to your form, which creates a second feature layer.  You can also set to null as you said and just pull a static lat long using pulldata.

If you are going to be going offline test out the geoshape as it needs a basemap to work.

Hope that helps

Thank you, I chose the method with null and pulldata(). Can I see if there will be a problem collecting the answers before my survey get published? (As I could on survey 123 web designer)

Thank you for your help!
