I know this can't be done now (i think) but what is the timeline for adding this capability? My organization will rely heavily on this will need this over the excel downloads (for managers) and downloading each submission 1 by 1 is not feasible.

is there a workaround for this?

Hi Joe,

We already have feature enhancements for PDF printing and batch printing of reports in our backlog. Currently there is no set timeline for implementation however both of these are highly requested so will be implemented with higher priority.

There are no current official workarounds, however you may find in the blogs and forums other users that have created python scripts or use other 3rd party tools to do similar workflows.

Regards,

Phil.

I searched around and didn't find any posts about scripting the workflow to export all submissions in bulk to PDF, if you know of any can you share the link.

3rd party tools? ESRI market place or ?

Hi Joe,

With ArcGIS Desktop, you should take a look at the Map Series (Pro) / Data Driven Pages (ArcMap) functionality - start at Map series—Layouts | ArcGIS Desktop . This functionality can be triggered through a Python script - the UC and DevSummit proceedings (https://proceedings.esri.com/) will have sessions on this.

Also, proving that the internet keeps *everything*, I dug up a copy from a UC presentation in 2009 "Extending Python" that explores python automation for mailing list generation and other reporting... https://slideblast.com/extending-python_595547ed1723dd8cdef0a6b8.html

Hi Joe,

As Philip replied, we will implement the bulk and PDF solution in a high priority since they are raised by many users, but no timeline can be guaranteed yet.

However, in the coming 2.5 release, we will have a new server-side REST API for the custom report feature, which may be a convenient way for you to work around the bulk printing. Please stay tuned with our blog, thanks.

Hi Joe,

The option of printing the Feature Report in PDF is available now on https://survey123beta.arcgis.com, along with other new beta features for the next release. We would love to have you have a test and share any feedback or issues you may encounter in the Survey123 Beta Website Feedback forum .

Thanks,

Jody Zheng Liu
