Hi all,

I am updating a survey for the new year and want to add the image feature to allow field staff to take/upload photos of voucher specimens. However, I cannot find where these photos are uploading or if they are being uploaded at all. I have checked within the My Survey Attachment file that is affiliated with this particular form and none of the "test" responses have appeared. Are there other places I should be looking or am I missing a component in my XLSX form?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Photo/image attachments to a survey submission are stored against that record in the data table. Review survey submissions in the Survey123 Data tab or in the Feature Layer (hosted) Data tab. If the submission contains a photo/image, they should look like this:

Thank you! This was very helpful! As a follow up question, do you happen to know if there is an efficient way to download photos from multiple records simultaneously?

Thanks again!

Hello, The most efficient way to export all of the photos is to download a File Geodatabase copy of the data and then follow the steps described in the Esri Knowledge Base article "How To: Batch export attachments from a feature class".

I think this article answers your questions about working with survey attachments: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-blog/working-with-your-survey123-photos/ba-p/898605

All the best.
