We deployed several surveys on the 2.8 version of Survey123 which have calculations in the repeats. This worked fine until I just updated to a newer version of Survey123. Now the calculations do not work in the repeats. Simple sample attached. Any ideas?

Hi Lance,
Just an update to let you know that we have been working on the issues described in this post and a lot of progress has been made with repeats/nested repeats and defaults/calculations/relevants/groups and missing values when opening the survey, so we believe the issue has been resolved for our upcoming 3.2 release which is due end of January.
If you have time, can you please check out the latest 3.2 RC builds (Connect 3.2.192 and App 3.2.262) available on EAC here: Welcome to our Feedback Community and provide any feedback. The sooner we can get feedback the sooner we can address any outstanding issues before the release.
Regards,
Phil.
Hi Lance,
Thanks for reporting this issue, we currently have a known bug in 3.0 and 3.1 beta regarding repeat count and calculations within repeats. The example survey you have provided is using a repeat count and this is what is causing the issue. If you remove the repeat count the calculations will work as expected. I have updated the internal bug with your comments and test survey and we are aiming to fix this issue in an upcoming release.
Phil.
Philip,
Thank you for the quick response. Is there a way to reinstall the iOS
2.8.2 version which works with our surveys?
Lance

Hi Lance,
Unfortunately not, with iOS there is no way to go back to an older app version. As mentioned we are aware of the repeat count bug and will be working to get this resolved as soon as possible and updated in a future release.
Phil.
A fix for the repeat issue is now available on EAC: Welcome to our Feedback Community
Please download the release candidate and test your survey.
Thanks
John
Johnathan, the calculations still do not appear to be working in our forms with calculations inside repeats. Do these need to be rebuilt and republished? Please see simple sample provided above in original post.
Also noted conditional statements are not correctly validating. Receiving a message, for example, field value of 9.0 is not less than or equal to 10.0. It was last time I checked.
Testing on version 3.1.160.
Lance
Thanks Lance - I'll take a look
Hi Lance - we can repro your issue and will include your survey in our tests.
We are aiming to get this addressed for 3.2.

Philip,
Sorry for the delay. I tested the calculation issue in version 3.2.264 and the nested repeat calculations appear to be working correctly. Also noted the app is now checking for missing repeats such as there are suppose to be three repeats and only two were completed. This was not caught previously.
Thanks for you and your teams continued assistance and support. We are planning on substantially increasing our utilization of 123 survey this year for many different applications.
