Hello Survey123 team, are there any legal reasons why we can't collect data while in Cuba using Survey123? This data collection is showing where they delivered clean water filters.
Apparently there is some concern with a legal document that my customer has read recently on the Esri website.
Here is the link: https://www.esri.com/en-us/legal/export-compliance?srsltid=AfmBOorNPAvq35kepL5KeDQYVv3Qnav99GWs1AgNS...
I believe this is only for exporting/selling software and hardware to Cuba but not for working in Cuba collecting data points using Survey123.
Can someone please confirm this for me?
Thank you!
Hey @MarthaRodgers,
Cuba is an embargoed country, and that means no Esri products, services, technical data, or standard "off-the-shelf" software can be exported to and used in Cuba. While Esri is a global company, its product is of US origin, and all US origin items, no matter where they are in the world, are subject to US export controls. Please feel free to reach out to esriexport@esri.com with any questions.
