We use survey123 for building damage assessment after a disaster. The cabinet office of Japan publishes the guideline for the damage assessment. The guideline includes the measument of height of watermark from the ground and floor level, area or percentage of area of damaged wall, roof , etc. The area of damage is collected by the level of damage, such as damage level I, II, III, IV, V, and calculated as damage point. We would like smart measurement tools to help such measurements in Survey123. For instance, a measurement tool to measure area by sketching a polygon around a damaged area by a touch pen in camera view.

The documen below is one of the paper survey forms published by the cabinet office of Japan. Each part of a building has a table. I, II, III, IV, V represent damage levels, % is the area of each damage level, and the numbers are damage points. The points are summarized to determine the total damage level of a building.
