It would be very useful to be able to display an image of an object or location that a user is recording data on. From what I have found, a image file name produced with a calculation cannot be used in the media::image column.
You could make more than one field then set a calc on the relevant to only show the correct one.
Even though multiple fields that show or hide using relevant is currently possible, being able to use pulldata to do so from a csv instead would be so valuable. Even in orgs with a GIS team, many folks don't know how to use survey123 connect, so having to update dynamic imagery via this work-around within connect is a real barrier. Especially if the survey ownership changes hands.
What everyone does know how to do though, is fill out a spreadsheet. You could even pair it with an online spreadsheet for even more ease of use. If calculations were possible in media::image, surveys could be updated seamlessly by multiple different people and teams regardless of their GIS knowledge which would be incredibly useful.
