It would be great if field workers were able to download and set offline basemap areas themselves for use in Survey 123. Something similar to the functionality in Field Maps or Sweet for ArcGIS.

I have over 100 field workers using any of 50+ surveys in various locations. To set an offline area for each survey for each person would end up being a full-time job and would require a web map created bespoke for each survey or each user to avoid having too many areas inside one map making it difficult to view/search.

Being able to have a setting in s123 in the home page to select and download their own offline areas for use across all surveys on that device would make it a lot easier for individuals to manage and massively reduce storage space on their devices

This would be an awesome addition to Survey123!

I've just posted an idea that might help in this situation as well. Sounds like a similar situation to us, where we have workers all over the country side and constantly moving around. We don't want to have to download our single, large area basemap multiple times due to device storage consumption concerns, and sideloading is not an option for us.
