Hello,
I am trying to perform a hot spot analysis and I am not sure if my approach is correct. Can you please help me with some recommendations.
I want to see if there is a spatial clustering of the places where land cover changes take place (between two different time moments). My data are represented by districts as polygon feature. For each district I created a field that represents the area of the land cover changes. The problem is that there are districts in which no changes took place. In ArcGIS Help I read that all the zero values must be removed pryor to analysis. How will this affect my results? Is hot spot analysis proper for my data or should I reconsider my approach?
