First, I would look to thank the community for their support and assistance over the years. I couldn't have deployed storymap so smoothly as a mechanism for reporting and storytelling without the assistance of the contributors on this forum.

With that said, I have a question about access to an old storymap link. The share link for a storymap I published a year ago is not opening in my colleague's Safari browser (Link here: https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/5e84b574c08e4df7a33e8732b5c3d7a7). Many of my colleagues have Macs and would be opening the Storymap in Safari. Is there any way this could be troubleshooted? Or is there another issue with the link?

@RylandLu - I'm so glad that the community has been such a help to you! Thanks for sharing your experience.

The share button that you see when viewing a story on a large-screen device is not shown on small-screen devices. This is because space is at a premium on small screens, so we look to simplify the experience. Also mobile browsers already have sharing features built in that are familiar to phone users. For example, in Safari on iOS, there is always a share button at the bottom of the screen that viewers can use to share the story link via email, message, social services, etc.

I hope this helps explain what you are seeing with your story. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Hi Owen,

I understand with regards to mobile devices. I forgot to specify that the colleague is trying to open the storymap on Safari on her Macbook, not on the mobile phone. Have you encountered this issue before among the user community?

Best,
Ryland

@RylandLu - There is an option to turn off the sharing menu in the Story settings. Could you check to see if they aren't being hidden? Also, note that the sharing menu is only shown for stories that are shared with everyone. If the story is shared to the org and other people have to log in to see it, the sharing menu won't be shown.
