Hello everyone!
I was trying to figure out a couple of design ideas in ArcGIS Online/StoryMaps - does anyone know how to create this effect of a single cluster point that "fans out" into multiple points?
I noticed it in this StoryMap in the ArcGIS StoryMaps gallery. I was trying to search it in the documentation, but I think I'm just not using the correct keywords 😁 I mostly can't tell if this is an Express Map function in StoryMaps or if this is a design function from clustering in Web Maps.
Thank you for the help!
Sara

It's the Group by nearby points (beta) toggle in the Express Map settings.
I have used clustering a few times to display lots of data in a large scale. If I had to guess, this looks like the work of Aggregation--> Clustering in Web Maps.
I know how to set the aggregation - but I'm looking specifically for the option to get it to split off into multiple points!
In the example StoryMap - if you hover the cursor over the clustered 4 point on New York, it splits off into 4 separate points. If you assign aggregation to it, it won't do that on default (the clustered point is just static, you can zoom in an out but it doesn't to the animation of splitting off). I can't seem to find a setting in Web Maps or in StoryMaps to do this.
Here is a little video of the specific animation I'm looking for

Excellent! Thank you!
