Hello all:

I'm having a problem with my StoryMap, which is very similar to the one mentioned in this post:

https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-storymaps-questions/the-embedded-web-app-is-popping-up-at-a-dif...

My StoryMap keeps jumping to a section with web content, which is a web scene I created. I tried  adding "&disableSplashFocus=true" to the end of the url as mentioned in the post, but didn't work. Do you know how can I solve this issue?

@MarioReyes3, what kind of application is embedded? That disableSplashFocus parameter will only work with Web AppBuilder apps.

I do believe if you add this same scene by adding it via the Map element within ArcGIS StoryMaps, you won't see this jump when loading. But I do see you've also got some formatting on the scene that may be set through a custom app?

Let me know,

Abby

Hi @MarioReyes3 , I'm sorry you're experiencing this behavior. Could you send a sample story with the web scene showing the issue or the story itself so I could take a look?

Hi @AbbyE_Esri ,

Thanks for your answer. This is the link to my StoryMap: https://arcg.is/0jnW0r0. When you stay in the second map, suddenly the map with the web scene pops up.

Hi @AbbyE_Esri, it's a web scene: https://marnsig.maps.arcgis.com/home/webscene/viewer.html?webscene=8ae5298b2f274f02b17bf1054e86da83

I couldn't add it as a map when I first created, because it wasn't available in the maps in my content, so I used the "embed" option. I just tried to add it again and now it was there. It seems it's working now.
