Storymap not scrolling down to first text block on an iPhone

Hello there, 

When I preview my storymap in ArcGIS on the phone setting it works great, however if I try to actually navigate the storymap on my iPhone I can't scroll down to the first text block. The same problem exists on other phones. Has anyone run into this before or does anyone have any advice? Thank you so much for any help.

@LisaHayward - Thanks for sending the link. I'm sorry you are seeing an issue with your story.

I just brought it up to test it out on my iPhone and things appear to be working as expected for me. I've attached a video of what I'm seeing on an iPhone 15 running iOS 26.2.1.

It does look like the iframe where the story is embedded is inside a <p> tag, which is not a best practice. I'm not sure if that would account for the issues you are seeing, but we would recommend fixing that.

 

If you are still seeing issues on your phones, please contact Esri Support and they can help troubleshoot what might be happening on the phones you were using to view the story.

Hi Owen,
Thank you so much for testing my StoryMap on your phone. I’m encouraged to hear it’s working well, but still can’t get it to display properly on mine and know others are having trouble as well. I reached out to our web team about the

tag and will also contact Esri Support. Thank you for the suggestions.
