Hi there,

I'm struggling a bit with the newest version of the Cascade StoryMap. Specifically, I'm running into a lot of obstacles with formatting. Here are some questions I have...

  1. How do you change font color of certain text in the Cascade text boxes?
  2. Is there a way to include images in text boxes where the user can click on an image for an enlarged view?
  3. How do you add the credits section at the end?

Thank you!!!

Hi Mary -- Just to clarify, are you using the classic Cascade template or the new ArcGIS StoryMaps? I think you're using the latter, so here are the answers to your questions assuming that's the case. 🙂

  1. Formatting text color isn't possible yet, but that's planned for an upcoming release.
  2. If you are referring to the text boxes in a slideshow, you can only add text to those.
  3. There isn't a dedicated credits section yet, but that's planned for an upcoming release too.

Hi Owen,

Yes, I was referring to the new ArcGIS StoryMaps that you provided a link to--thanks so much!

Do you have any idea when the upcoming release is going to happen?

Thanks again,

Mary

Both of those features are currently planned for Q1 of 2020.
