Possibility to upload your own icon in an Infographic in Storymaps

I like the (new) feature in Storymaps to simply make an infographic. But when you want to incorporate an icon in the infographic, you can only choose from standard icons. Although they are nice, they do not fit my needs. So I would like to upload my own icon(s)

@MikeHorree - Thanks for posting this idea. We are considering adding the ability for authors to upload icons, but we don't have it on our roadmap for a specific time just yet.

Do you have very specific icons that you need (for example custom icons from your organization), or does the picker just not have the ones you are looking for? We are already working on adding more icons/categories to this set. Please let us know what you need and we can try to fill your request.

@OwenGeo The icons available are limited. Instead of asking Esri to provide a greater library of icons to select from (which may still not include an icon needed by the user) it would be great to be able to upload our own icons. Esri could provide basic guidance for the requirements for the icon files (file type, size, etc.).

As you mentioned, this idea is similar to the idea for map tours. Since both ideas are categorized as "Needs Clarification", the rest of us can't give them kudos/support. The parallel idea for map tours appeared to provide clarification in the comments but the status still suggests further clarification is needed. Allowing a user to upload their own files for icons would also users to use icons more appropriate to whatever topic they are communicating about and would allow organizations that have developed custom icons to include those in their infographics and map tours. I know in the past I have started to create an infographic and decided to not use that function because the icons available were not appropriate.

(I cannot kudo this Idea with its current status of Needs Clarification, but I would like to.)

In particular we would be interested in custom icon support so that we use icons designed as part of a projects overall design theme. Often that theme encompasses more than just a StoryMap too, and we would like the ability to carry the theme throughout any ArcGIS components that are used, including StoryMaps.

(We are also adding over 100 new icons in an update coming next week, for a total of almost 250. I understand this does not meet the need of this idea, but just wanted followers of it to be aware.)
