Dear All,
I have a 10km sq land cover map and a vector map of regions. I would like each 10km sq to belong to a region or several if there is overlap. I converted the vector map to points and then raster after which I combined it withthe original map using spatial analyst-> local-> combine. I joined the points data to this file then created a sample file withthe original map data so that all the 10km points were there, however only a a few had the region for where they belonged.
Am I approaching the indexing of squares by regions inthe correct way? If not how should I be approaching it? I tried using masking but that wasn't very successful.
