problem in accessing user name and role from REST SOE

I enabled ArcGIS server security from the ArcGIS server manager. I can see the the services not being displayed for certain roles and displayed for certain roles as per the expectation when I browse the services logging as different users.

I tried to follow the steps described in

to get the user name and role of logged in user from the SOE. However, I get the user name and roles null despite the fact I am using services as a logged in user. Am I missing something?

Anyone has a solution to this problem?
Let me rephrase my question..
Is there any way I can access the logged in user info from the SOE?
I have set up the security through the ArcGIS server manager and now the client is making REST request through the token obtained from the Token Service. The security stuffs is working.
Now I want to know if I can access the username, roles of the user making the request.
Is there any way?
