How to set length and width of symbol separately?

The SetSize Method—ArcGIS Pro function can only set the size of symbol proportionally. However, when it comes to a rectangle or something like polygon, is there anyway to set length and width of symbol separately?

Hi HaoWong,

As far as I Know, each symbology in the ArcGIS Pro is a CIM Object and in the CIM Object there is not width or length attribute for point symbology, there is just size and which can be modified.

Please check the below link to figure out better the structure of the symbology in deep.

https://esri.github.io/cim-symbol-builder-js/

have a great day

Amir

Dear HaoWong,

Sorry for late response,

I do not think you will have access to the geometry of the point from symbology.

Because The symbology is just a representation of a point, nothing more.

Best regards
