I tried posting this in the general ArcGIS Pro area. But maybe this is a more appropriate place:

Are there any plans to support geoprocessing in a stand-alone ArcGIS Pro SDK CoreHost app?

I  watched the DevSummit21 day 3 plenary. And this was mentioned, but I'm not sure if he misspoke.

Anyway this is definitely something which we could use - we are currently using ArcObject/Engine for this scenario.

Geoprocessing support is being explored as a future possibility for the CoreHost pattern.  Although it is not certain at this time, depending on the outcome of this research, it could be added to the SDK long-term roadmap.

That would be a great thing. We are waiting for something like this to move to Pro.
