Hello!
I am currently trying to update a lab computer to the latest version of ArcGIS Pro and I'm receiving the message "The ESRI update service is temporarily unavailable"
I've tried logging back in/out a few times, I'm not working offline, and the my internet connection seems solid.
Any suggestions? Thank you!

I am also getting this error! Something strange must be happening, maybe the update service is down?
Update:
Seems organizational wide for me, I've tested on version 3.4 - 2.9 and everyone is having this same issue. I would report this as a service outage as it's seemingly affecting quite the many so far!

It's back for me! I reached out to tech support - they told me there was some maintenance that was being done today that cause the update service to go down for a bit.
I just tested it out and it's back!

I am having this issue today May 22, 2025 as well.
It looks like back in February when this was originally posted, the maintenance they were doing had it down for a few hours but then back up..... I'm hoping it will be similar today where it will be resolved soon. But I'm glad I'm not the only one having this issue today, the day I finally decided I wanted to update Pro to 3.5!
I spoke with our ESRI rep and they are not allowing updates until the patch, 3.5.1 I think, is available the first week of June. The work around is to go to MyESRI.
I saw some posts on ArcGIS Reddit that a few people were having some bugs/issues with 3.5 (but this is Reddit, so take that for what you will). So I was also going to hold off until 3.5.1 was out.
