There are many videos and other resources like Gis StackExchange or Reddit. Just utilize google but specify you are using Pro or make questions on this community website because there are many unknowns. Also FYI, these simple online chat bots like BingAI or ChatGPT have also been very helpful.
When you talk about adding a North Arrow, I assume you mean to a layout? In that case, open Pro, get the map you want open, at the top toolbar you can follow these steps to create a layout and insert north arrow.
go to top tool bar > Insert > new layout ( select size and orientation ), ( this will take you to layout format where you can adjust how you want your map to be printed or exported) > once you are in your layout tab, insert > north arrow (the north arrow will point whatever way your map is oriented)
