Periodically, when I try to open a project, it just remains on the loading screen and the project will not open. It seems to coincide with issues where the table to excel process never finishes.
I have Pro 3.0, Windows 11, Office 365 CTR, the Microsoft Access database engine 2016 (152MB) driver as well as the Microsoft Windows Desktop Runtime 6.0.10 (both x64 and x86) installed.
This seems to happen at least once a week or every other week where projects that would open the previous day, now refuse to open and I am unable to run the Table to Excel geoprocessing tool.
Any insight would be appreciate as I am growing tired of uninstalling and reinstalling these drivers every time this happens.
Solved! Go to Solution.
It looks like there was an issue with the Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 Redistributable driver. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and the project now opens. I will have to see if this corrects the issue with exporting to excel. This would be the 3rd time in two months this has happened.
There is an Esri Support article here that lists the workaround/solution for the Excel issue that you are facing. One thing I do not see on your list of software/drivers installed in the MS .NET 6 Desktop Runtime - Windows x64 installer. Have you installed that as well? There is a second Esri Support article that discusses ArcGIS Pro freezing when working with Excel files here.
As far as I can tell, yes I do. Pro has been working just fine but then every now and again, projects just stop opening - without any modifications to my computer.
