Maintain Related Tables from ArcGIS Pro to AGOL

Question on related tables specifically, but would also appreciate guidance on my entire process if you see room for improvement!

Essentially, I have data downloaded from a Survey123 form (point layer + table with descriptions) that I want to upload to AGOL as a web map for my organization to view. We don't own the Survey123 layer and it is hosted on a platform I don't have permissions to, so all I am able to get is the point layer and a descriptions table. The point layer represents animal locations, and the descriptions table has entries for the animals seen (so often, there are more than one description rows for each point). My goal is to take this data, put it in Pro, relate the tables back to each other, and then publish this to AGOL. I receive a download of the data every week or so, so I am trying to come up with a repeatable process for how to replace the Pro layer with the updated data, relink the two files, and publish. The point layer's globalID field matches the description tables parentglob field. I have tried Add Relate, which connects the two in Pro, but that relationship is not preserved once I publish to Portal. Does anyone know of a relatively simple, repeatable process to accomplish this? Any ideas are appreciated, thank you! (Pro version 3.3.1)

Create Relationship Class (different from Add Relate) then just truncate/append or append with upsert.
