Locator invalid on network drive, works on local drive

I have developed an Address Locator in ArcGIS Pro, version 3.1.1 using the Create Locator tool. The resulting locator lives on a network drive in my organization, where everyone on the GIS team can access it. When some of my teammates try to add this locator to their ArcGIS Pro project, they are getting the error 'Cannot use the selected locator for batch geocoding.' as shown below, and then it shows the ! next to the locator in Catalog.

However, when my teammates copied the locator to their local drive, they were able to successfully add the local version it to their project and geocode without issue.

Any ideas what might be going on? I did not have this issue, neither did my boss (GIS manager) - we were able to add the network drive version successfully.

Did you check the permissions? Sounds like your colleagues don't have the rights to execute off the network drive.

would these be permissions I could set in ArcGIS Pro?
