I would like help to create contour polygons from a lake contour line layer. I have tried creating the polygons, but the polygons are created in a ring and I want the plolygons to stretch the length of the lake, like in layers.
For instance if a contour is 0 in depth it should include all of 1-13 feet in depths, If the contour is 1ft in depth then it would include 2-13 feet contour depths. therefore I can calculate the volume of the lake.
