In ArcGIS Pro is there an Identify Tool like in ArcGIS for Desktop?  You know, the little Blue I button?

hey, i dont think there is an identify tool in Pro. Havent seen it in version 1.1...but I hope this helps

To identify a feature just use the MAP | Explore button to click on it.

You may see it tell you that it is Identifying the first time, but on subsequent clicks it works too fast for that.

Is there is an identify by shape option somewhere instead of by point?

It would be nice if the identify can be made with window.

Yes, see steps below.

  • Under contents, click on list by selection tab.
  • Right click on any layer and choose attributes.
  • In the attribute box, click on select one or more features.
  • Drag your mouse over what features you want to identify. Than you will be able to see your attributes listed for each feature in the attribute box.
