I have been seeing odd imagery issues since updating to 3.6. I have several imagery services and one no longer even displays. Another one is completely fine and the one I use the most keeps cutting off the top part of the map frame and not displaying the imagery. When I pan around, it will update the map imagery, but still doesn't diplay any imagery for that couple of inches from the top.
We tried this on a computer that didn't upgrade to 3.6 just now, and that computer displays everything perfectly.
So the only difference is my computer having been updated to 3.6...
I have exactly the same issue. No imagery display for the top strip (couple of inches). Please tell me if you find a way to resolve the issue.
Good to know that I'm not the only one. Hopefully someone at ESRI sees this and can submit this as a bug report...
Yes exactly what I am seeing. I just submitted a bug report for this now...
I noticed by mistake that another map that I had while testing somethings out, had the exact same imagery and that didn't have this issue. So it seems that some maps with the imagery may be fine and others are corrupted. Copying over the imagery to the map showing the issue, didn't solve the problem.
I ended up having to just copy the map with the good imagery, remove all the layers from that copy and then copy over all the layers from the original map into that new one and it works fine.
Very odd that several of us have had this issue though...
I am also having image issues ov several kinds. By zooming in and out, the image can totally disappear. Another problem is what happen to the right side of the map view (see enclosed) which I don't even know how to explain... . I didn't have any of this issues with the previous version. Any help would be appreciated.
Have you tried deleting the imagery cache on the computer to see if it allows Pro to pull down new imagery tiles instead of trying to reuse the previously viewed cached tiles? It might help since it was a new 3.x install, but it might not.
I have noticed that when viewing aerial imagery services while within a layout view, that the imagery sometimes does not redraw completely within the map frame of the layout. Even with manually refreshing the layout it will not redraw. However, if I activate the map frame and then refresh, it will redraw just fine. I am using 3.5.3 currently and I am thinking about waiting until the release of 3.6.1.
I also have within the Display setting the use of Direct 12 (Nvidia Geoforce 4090 16gb), Antialiasing = Fast, Text Antialiasing = Force, Stereoscopic = off, Rendering = High Quality, enable vertical synchronization = checked, and enable hardware antialiasing = unchecked
Hey Micheal, I just looked at my settings and the are exactly the same as yours. So I can't see the redering being the issue.
I just deleted the temp cache's in the AppData as well and nothing changed (I also have Pro to clear the local cache every time I exit).
So not sure if I should do any testing on changing those redering settings as they are the same as what you have?
It was worth a shot to see if that could be the issue; corrupted imagery cache, because I had this issue and that helped resolve it.
It looks like someone might have figured out that it is a projection issue for them.
