How to edit raster dataset with shape file?

Hello, I´m new to ArcGIS and I was wondering if I can somehow edit the Dataset (Black/white) that it only shows the data in the area of my shapefile(blue). So that you would only see the data relevant to my project, not the whole square.Basically I want it to look like the bottom part. I hope it´s clear what I want... Thank you in advance.
