Hi ,

I created an Annotation in a Geodatabase and I have a trouble to try and edit to change the name from TEST to a different name. It is a symbol collection that I have it and I cannot change or make any edit to it in the Feature Class Properties .  Do I have to create a new Annotation in the Geodatabase and copy and paste or ??

I have looked around in ESRI documention to find this more information but it does not help me. So I am pretty out of luck unless it is already created in the new ArcGIS Ideas ?

Thanks !

You can just rename it the same way you do any other layer-- F2 or right-click-> Properties.

Note that this will only rename the class in your contents pane; there doesn't appear to be a way to change a class's name, although you can create new ones and set their names at creation through catalog-->right-click-->Annotation Feature Class Properties
