Hiding labels in georeferenced tif file in Arcpro version 3.2

I have a tiff file opened in my arc Pro. I need to delete/hide the labels which are outside the map area. I still need to keep same labels which are inside the map area. My basic license does not allow me to use label editing geoprocessing tool. 

I want to delete labels present within white background.

As we are using a basic license here, we may be able to use one of the following workflows. There are additional options but these should work when using the basic license

Option 1:

1. Create a definition query for the target layer - https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/3.1/help/mapping/layer-properties/definition-query.htm
2. Turn on labeling
3. Only the visable features will be labeled

Option 2:

1. Select all features within the boundary of the tiff that we are looking to label
2. Right click on the target layer > Selection > make layer from selected features - https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/3.1/help/mapping/layer-properties/selection-layers.htm
3. Turn on labeling
4. Only the visible features will be labeled
