Gaps Appearing In Raster Mosaic Due To Alpha Band Not Being Remade

Hi, when I create a mosaic out of several aerial images that aren't rectangular (i.e have alpha bands defining where the image extent is) the resulting mosaic has black gaps in between the images (as per screenshot).

The black gaps correspond with where the alpha band is equal to 0 in the last image in the mosaic (note that Mosaic Operator is set to 'Last').

How can I remedy this? I don't want to set the Mosaic Operator to maximum because I need the images in a specific order.

Thanks

Here are a few things to try:

  1. Have you built footprint;
  2. Have you built pyrimid;
  3. Have you tried a different workflow by Create Mosaic Dataset followed by Add Rasters to Mosaic Dataset.

Please let me know if it helps.

That worked well

Create Mosaic Dataset > Add Rasters to Mosaic Dataset > Build Footprints (Approx number of vertices = -1, Request Size = -1) > Export Raster

Thanks
