failed to create add field and calculate field using arcpy python scripting.

Hi everyone, 

  i am trying to automate the add field to the geo database  feature classes, and then calculated it with existing field value using ArcPy. code was run successfully. no errors. but i am unable to the see the new fields along with values the FC tables.  i checked several times, but i didn't find them in table. can you please give your thoughts on it ?

Were to saving to a default file gdb that might be buried in some local C-drive location?
