I have a spatial map series with a scale bar on each page. The map is fairly simple so the scale bar can only be on top of one of two colors in the map, depending on if it is placed over land or water. Is it possible to have the color of the scale bar be different depending on the background color it is over in the map? So if the scale bar is over dark blue water, it is alternating white and transparent, but if it is over tan-colored land, it alternates dark blue and transparent? Maybe this is possible with some coding? I thought maybe I could just add two scale bars to the layout and then find something like a page query or something to associate one or the other with each page, but I don't see how to do this. Alternatively, if I can't change the color of the scale bar depending on the page, can I change its position depending on the page?
