Hi all,

I'm trying to create points based information in an excel that I have put into Arcpro. I've used the tool 'XY Table to point' in the past but the data I'm working with currently is using UTM coordinate system rather than lats and longs. Is it possible to create points from the coordinates in their current UTM system, or do I have to convert them into X and Y?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You can use UTM coordinates but you need to know the UTM Zone and underlying GCS to get the proper alignment. We worked in NAD 83 by default so it wasn't specified in my table.

This tool honors the Output Coordinate System geoprocessing environment variable so if set, will project the output to that coordinate system.
