ArcGIS Pro 3.1

After creating a new file geodatabase in a folder via the Catalog pane:
The folder gets focus in Catalog and is put into renaming mode.

Video:

That seems unexpected. Why would we want to rename the folder after creating a GDB?

Is that a minor bug?

Hi @Bud

I tried testing this with ArcGIS Pro 2.9.6, 3.0.3 and 3.1.0. I was unable to encounter the issue. Is this reproduced in a new Project?

What if we try to create a file geodatabase in the "MyProject85" folder. Does the folder get in focus again?

Thanks,

Vaibhav

Good catch. I created a new project and no longer see the issue in that project. Instead, the new geodatabase gets focus and is put in rename mode, as expected.

I guess there must have been something wrong with that particular project/session.
