I want to convert an image from a mosaic dataset to a raster. However, after converting it to TIFF with various processing options, the resulting image has a size of 32GB. This makes it difficult to manage in ArcGIS, as the performance becomes very slow when visualizing the image.

Is there any way to convert the image to a raster format with a smaller size without losing the quality and resolution of the image

Thanks

Likely you've seen and/or are using the Raster to other format GP tool and then seeing what the export size is.  There are 3rd party companies out that like LizardTech that export to a highly compressed format (MrSID) but that requires purchasing of those softwares.
