Cannot Pan To, Zoom To or Flash selected or unselected records in attribute table

This is embarrassing, but I cannot figure out why when I right click on a selected/unselected/highlighted record and click zoom-to, pan-to or flash the map does not reply? Am I missing a setting somewhere?

I also should mention it happens only when I use the 'select by attribute' option.

Mine works fine no matter selected by attribute or not. Can you confirm that those points have a geo location?
