No, that environment is not supported. I've heard of people trying, but no successes that I know of.

Yes, that's what tech support said, too. I pinged them after not receiving a response after a few days. I did learn about this resource, WineHQ which crowdsources how different Windows programs run on WINE.

Here are the steps for installing ArcGIS Pro on Ubuntu 20.04.4 Desktop:
When planning to install an earlier version of ArcGIS Pro, like ArcGIS Pro 2.9, it is crucial to install Wine 5.x first. A recommended option is Wine Staging 5.0.3. Only after that should you initiate the installation of ArcGIS Pro 2.9. If you attempt to install it using Wine 6.x or a later version, you will encounter an error message stating "unsupported os". Once ArcGIS Pro has been successfully installed, you can uninstall Wine 5.0.3 and proceed to install the newer version of Wine Staging, such as 8.x, and 9.x

When it comes to ArcGIS Pro 3.3, you can directly install it without the need to install an earlier version of Wine.

However, I have to admit that its performance is rather unstable when running under Wine.
