Hi everyone,
I try to associate an image, differente for each point, belonging to one layer.
I have a layer composed of 5 points and I would like to associate an image for each point. I already arrived to associate an image for the layer but it's the same for each point so it's not what I want. I did this in the pop-up menu.
So, do you know how I can solve my problem ?
Thanks,
Eva
Hi,
I don't understand why I don't see the Attachments tab when I select all my point and I select Attributes
.
I have enabled my geodatabase feature class to store file attachments and there is no error but nothing happen when I select Attributes
. I really don't understand and I'm becoming crazy !!
Thanks,
Eva
Simply said, the problem arises from the incomplete ArcGIS Pro functionality: this software is still incomplete support/reading the geodatabase (ESRI's native data storage!?!, e.g. you need to remind it that gdb can contain relations - to check automatically select related data, just unidirectional relationship reading - from origin to destination, unsupported Raster catalog...).
If you have already created gdb and enabled attachment (GP tool) try the following:
- From GP tools start compact geodatabase;
- When you are done, go to the Catalog tab, locate your gdb and refresh geodatabase from the context menu;
- Then return to map and try to assign attachment to points.
Optionally: If you still can’t, close ArcGIS Pro and open ArcGIS for Desktop (if you have it installed), assign attachments to points, and then open everything in ArcGIS Pro. It should be all right.
Good luck!
Thanks all of us for your useful help. I fixe my problem.
I hope now I will be able to do this again for a new project.
