ArcGISPro will not reopen project after any kind of save

ArcGISPro will not reopen project after any kind of save. If save nothing and reopen, it works. But after save, close, and reopen, the project just opens to a blank screen (see attachment).

Is there a log somewhere to see what failed during load? Does some temp cache need to be cleared?

In the Contents panel, can you take a look and see what's in the Maps section? It looks like your project has something in it, but it's just not reopening whatever maps / panels you had open before.

There is nothing in Contents.

Check the Options. I get your result with this radio button selected. Try setting Show the start page.

That didn't work... it was already set to Show the start page, so I set it to Without a project template, reopened, set to Show and reopened...

I had saved a copy of the project before this started happening. And that one opens with content. But as soon as make any save and closing of the project and reopen, it's been like this.

It works now... I restored the project file from a save... and "closed all attribute tables" and saved, closed, reopened. It reopened properly this time. Must have been one of the tables...
