I've been trying to use the Merge Divided Roads tool in ArcGIS Pro and am having trouble with the merge field- it won’t accept any layer fields as eligible. Has anyone else run into this issue and figured out the underlying problem?
so you have ensured that the data are projected, and
Matched pairs of roads or lanes are merged if they are the same road class, trend generally parallel to one another, and are within the merge distance apart.
plus all the little subtle comments contained within the help? Perhaps you should show your roads to see if there is some other issue
