Hi,

With ArcGIS Pro 1.4, there is a new setup named is ArcGIS Pro Coordinate Systems Data.

Why a new setup for coordinate Systems Data and for what?

Thanks a lot for answer,

Asma

https://community.esri.com/message/655985-re-information-on-the-coordinate-systems-desktop-install?c... The file was getting too big, so a separate installation is used for some definitions... see Melita's response at the end of the thread

Generally speaking, you don't need it. According to the documentation:

Some transformations that require files are not installed with the ArcGIS Pro installation. You can download and install the ArcGIS Pro Coordinate System Data files at my.esri.com. The additional files are the EGM2008 and GEOID12b geoid models; VERTCON files; GEOCON v1; and three NTv2 files for Switzerland, XRail, and OSTN15.

Any chance to have GEOID18?

Patricia, if you wish a new component added to the Projection Engine for Esri Software, please have a case created through Esri Support.  An analyst will check to see if you request is already in the pipeline, or if a new Enhancement Request needs to be created for your issue.

Thank you so much and keep safe.
