Hi, Pro 2.8?  Have you make some tests?  Any issues?

Do you work with a Pc to see how this emulation stand?  If so what Pc configuration you have.  On M1 is slower, faster?

Thanks,  it's like even with emulation and limited memories, it's very useful.  At least very more than my emulation of arc view with my iMac sunflower with virtual pc.

Can't even dream of performance if ESRI can compile ArcGIS Pro for arm and skip the emulation of x86 codes.

I Sean

I have a question since you have an M1 and Pro.  Have you try to open Pro without windows?  I think of using CodeWeavers trial copy to see if it's working.  I know that arcmap doesn't but... If it's works with Pro...

If you doesn't know crossover, you can look at this link.

https://www.theregister.com/2020/11/19/crossover_apple_m1/

For the trial copy of it https://www.codeweavers.com/crossover

If it's working, making the same tests you done could be nice.

Hmmm.

You're right, no I haven't tried opening Pro without windows.

Later this week I should be able to try this.
I'll give you feedback.

Sean.
