ArcGIS Pro 3.0.1: In which cases the features classes need to reside in mobile geodatabase but not in file geodatabase?

I couldn’t figure out which stuff that can be performed in mobile geodatabase but not in file. In other words, when we need to “migrate” from file to mobile?

Hey there @JamalNUMAN,

Thank you for posting this question. After dong some digging, I found this document that describes differences between different types of geodatabases: Types of geodatabases.

There is a chart in here that offers information on different database types. There are different considerations to each type of database, you should consider these against your desired workflow. More information on Mobile geodatabases can be found here as well: Mobile geodatabases.

If you have further context on your workflow, I'd love to hear about it and discuss further. Feel free to reply to this thread!

Keep on keeping on!

The comparison between mobile and file shows very light difference between them!

As a very end user, how can I feel the difference? Is there any concreate example for an action that can be performed in mobile where file fails?
