Hi,

In ArcGIS Pro, I managed to insert a graticule in a map frame of the layout.

However, there is just one thing I cannot find: it is how to display lines of graticule as a grid of ticks. Just as in ArcMap, shown below. Is it possible in ArcGIS Pro?

Hi Vincent,

That option isn't available in Pro 2.0. It will be included in Pro 2.1, coming out very soon. When you get 2.1 we have changed the terminology for these a bit, so you will add 'Intersection Points' instead of a 'Grid of Ticks'.  The idea is these points designate the grid intersections and you can display them using any point symbol you like (the cross hair is still the default).  So, look for them in the new grid functionality in Pro 2.1.

Thanks,
David

According to Modify graticule properties | ArcGIS Desktop,

Gridlines, ticks, and labels can be added or removed on the Components tab Components. The symbol for each component can be changed under Appearance.

By checking off Automatically adjust on the Options tab Properties, you can change the Interval of latitude and longitude for Gridlines, Ticks, and Labels.

The Appearance of each component can be also be altered by choosing its Length, Offset, and by modifying its Symbol.

Visibility for Ticks, and Labels can be checked on or off for the cardinal directions of the map.

So uncheck Automatically Adjust on Options tab. Then, you could modify the symbol of the gridlines to "No Color" or its width to 0. And define appropriate interval for the ticks.
