I think I found a system bug that doesn't allow you to properly manage the colors of the annotations.
I will briefly explain the workflow to better understand the problem:
Create labeling "on the fly" with labeling rules and format Texts with spot color (required by the specifications of my job);
Convert my spot colors to CMYK with "Replace colors in a layout" (command found only in "customize ribbon" options);
Convert labels in annotation.
At this point, all the colors in my layout are CMYK. i have to be careful about adding new annotation, checking that their color is CMYK and not spot color.
If any annotation is created in spot color, the color of this must be modified manually and is not simple found it (!!!) because "Replace colors in a layout" doesn't work for annotation!
Same problem occurs with annotations generated by "Make Grids and Graticules" geoprocessing tool: grid and thick text are generated with spot color and I have to change it by myself selecting all features and set CMYK colors.
Has anyone had the same problem?
Can you suggest solutions?
Is it a software bug?
Thanks in advance!
